Fragments of the body of a person killed in a Russian airstrike were found in the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv.
According to Ukrinform, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram.
“Unfortunately, during emergency rescue operations at the site of the airstrike in the Kholodnohirskyi district, human remains were found under the rubble of a building. Recovery efforts are ongoing,” the statement said.
The identity of the deceased is being determined, the prosecutor’s office noted.
As previously reported, on the night of June 19, Russian forces struck the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv with guided bombs. Nine people were injured, including four children.
