A Russian airstrike on Kharkiv's Kholodnohirskyi district has left one person dead and 12 others injured.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office announced the updated casualty figures on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"One of the aerial munitions struck a roadway near a non-residential building. A 23-year-old woman was killed in the attack. Ten other people were injured, including a young woman who sustained blast injuries and burns to about 90% of her body. A tram, cars, the city's electric tram network, and non-residential buildings were damaged," the statement said.
A second munition struck the grounds of a private residence but failed to detonate. Two women were injured in the blast, prosecutors said.
According to preliminary findings, Russian forces used two UMPB-5 guided aerial bombs. A pre-trial investigation has been launched into a war crime resulting in the death of a civilian.
