— Inter ⭐⭐ (@Inter_en) June 18, 2026The 2025-26 Scudetto was Chivu’s fourth with Inter, where he won three league titles as a player in consecutive seasons between 2008 and 2010, and last season became the club’s fifth coach to win the Italian top flight in his first campaign in charge. The Romanian joined Inter from Parma last summer following the departure of Simone Inzaghi to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.Chivu, who won the treble as an Inter player under Jose Mourinho in 2010, worked as Inter’s youth-team coach after retiring from his playing career and was later appointed head coach of their Primavera side, the under-20s, winning the title in 2022.Chivu’s Inter suffered just one league defeat since the turn of the year, 1-0 against rivals Milan, but suffered an early Champions League exit with a 5-2 aggregate defeat to Bodo/Glimt in the knockout phase play-offs. They reached the final in the season prior, suffering 5-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.Jun 19, 2026Connections: Sports EditionSpot the pattern.
