Chelsea will begin their 2026-27 Premier League season with a west London derby against Fulham on Monday, August 24.Former Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso leads Chelsea into the new campaign following his appointment as the club’s new head coach in May.The 2025-26 campaign saw both Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior dismissed, and Calum McFarlane ended the season in charge on an interim basis, recording a 10th-placed finish.They will not be playing European football in 2026-27, for the first time since the 2016-17 season in which they won the Premier League title.Their first match against one of the traditional ‘Big Six’ comes against Premier League champions Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on September 5, while Alonso will face former side Liverpool on December 5, before returning to Anfield on May 1.They finish the season at home to Brentford.Chelsea’s Premier League fixtures 2026-27
