Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico discussed Ukraine's European integration, energy cooperation, and joint efforts to achieve peace.
According to Ukrinform, Zelensky stated this on Telegram.
"We discussed European integration, mutually beneficial energy cooperation, and the results of the G7 Évian Summit. I spoke about diplomatic efforts for peace," the post said.
The two leaders also discussed preparations for the next round of intergovernmental consultations between Ukraine and Slovakia.
President Zelensky thanked Slovakia for supporting Ukraine's path toward membership in the European Union and for backing the opening of the first negotiation cluster in the accession process.
