Geely's new energy commercial vehicle unit Farizon unveiled its latest lineup at the 2026 International Automotive and Supply Chain Expo (Hong Kong) on Thursday, as the city pushes to decarbonise its transport sector – the second-largest source of carbon emissions.
Hong Kong, which topped Time Out magazine's 2025 rankings of the world's best public transport systems, has set a target of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
But the city's dense population and limited land have constrained charging infrastructure, creating a need for tailored solutions.
Farizon said its "methanol plus electric" approach offers a practical pathway.
