Somaliland’s defense ministry on Wednesday denied that Defense Minister Mohamed Yusuf Ali had spoken to any media outlets about military cooperation between Somaliland and Israel.
“The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Somaliland wishes to clarify that H.E. Mohamed Yusuf Ali, Minister of Defense, has not given any interview, statement, or comment to Reuters, Al Arabiya English, or any other media outlet regarding Somaliland-Israel cooperation,” the ministry said in a statement posted on social media.
