“Abbott Elementary” creator and star Quinta Brunson as signed a new multi-year overall deal with Disney Television Studios’ 20th Television, Variety has confirmed. As part of the new pact, Brunson and her Fifth Chance Productions shingle will develop, write and executive produce projects for Disney Entertainment Television’s brands and platforms.
Brunson was previously set up at Warner Bros. TV, where she will continue to work on “Abbott Elementary.” That show, which Warner Bros. TV produces with 20th, enters its sixth season this fall. Brunson had signed her last overall deal with Warner Bros. in 2022.

Television, and 20th Television onAbbott Elementary,” Brunson said in a statament. “Building this show together has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career, and I am incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished through this partnership. As we continue to grow and evolve the series, I’m thrilled to officially establish Fifth Chance under the Disney and 20th Television banner.
