FC Barcelona has completed the transfer of Eman Kospo, an 18-year-old Swiss centre-back, to Italian club ACF Fiorentina for a fee of approximately €500,000. The deal includes a sell-on clause, meaning Barcelona will pocket a percentage of any future transfer fee if Kospo moves on from Florence.
From Zurich to La Masia to Florence
Kospo’s journey through European football has been remarkably swift for someone born on May 17, 2007. He joined Barcelona’s youth setup from Grasshopper Zurich in the summer of 2023, arriving at La Masia as a 16-year-old.
Kospo became a key figure in Barcelona’s Juvenil A squad during the 2024-2025 season, helping the team complete a treble.
Kospo has already been integrated at Fiorentina, where he wears the number 23 jersey.
