Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever in Brussels on 18 June and discussed the schedule for the delivery of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.

Details: Zelenskyy said he and the Belgian prime minister held detailed talks on support for Ukraine's defence. In particular, Belgium is preparing a new substantial aid package and a contribution to the Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) programme, a US-NATO initiative under which European NATO allies purchase American weapons for Ukraine.
