Corey Feldman is speaking out and clarifying his medical emergency.The "Goonies" and "The Lost Boys" actor, 54, spent the night in the hospital after his publicist told USA TODAY on Tuesday, June 16, that he experienced "a really bad case of food poisoning" while on a flight.In a video posted late Wednesday, June 17, alongside videos of the musician in the studio, Feldman broke his silence, writing that before confirming he had food poisoning, doctors made a mistake, which led to a misdiagnosis leaked to some media outlets.Feldman called it a "big ol health scare.""Im alive & well!" he wrote. "It was a big scare bcuz a dr misdiagnosed me & then some1 on the medical staff sent that misdiagnosis 2 the media in real time, based on the result of a preliminary blood test! However it was only food poisoning thank God!"He added, "Ill b ok. Now back 2 rock n roll….."He continued to promote his upcoming single, "What Am I Here 4," out June 22, saying of the title: "Poignant timing eh?"The former child star was met by paramedics after landing at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday, June 15, and was transported to a hospital. He had been traveling home after spending time in the Midwest for the "Stand by Me" 40th anniversary tour with costars Jerry O'Connell and Wil Wheaton, which stopped at The Chicago Theatre on Sunday, June 14.Feldman, who began his music career in 1989 with "Something in Your Eyes" for the "Dream a Little Dream" soundtrack, is also known for roles in "The Lost Boys," "The Goonies," "The 'Burbs" (and its Peacock reboot series) and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."He went on to build his music catalog with songs such as "Ascension Millennium" and the Billboard-charting "Go 4 It!" as well as a 2008 album with his band Truth Movement that released through his label, CiFi Records. Feldman also toured as an opening act with nü metal band Limp Bizkit in 2024.
