Train services have been halted on a stretch of railway in Russian-occupied Crimea following strikes on a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal and other infrastructure.

Details: Russian rail operator Grand Service Express said: "By decision of the infrastructure owner, traffic on one section of the Crimean railway has been temporarily suspended today, 18 June. Passengers on trains to Crimea will complete the final part of their journey from Vladislavivka station by bus."

The company said the Simferopol-Moscow train has been cancelled. Changes have also been made to the departure procedure for Tavriia trains from Crimea. Passengers from the initial stations of Sevastopol and Simferopol will be taken by bus to another boarding point.
