The eThekwini Municipality has announced a raft of measures to contain the unfolding crises in Sherwood over the next 72 hours.

It is estimated that between 6000 and 10000 Malawians are now camping out in the area after being displaced by the anti-illegal immigrant marches and are now to be deported back to their home country.

This comes as calls grow from ratepayers for the government to quickly address the unfolding humanitarian crises.
