XTX Markets taps YIT to build third Finnish data center

Algorithmic trading firm XTX Markets is set to build a third data center at its campus in Kajaani, Finland.

Construction firm YIT Corporation this week announced it has signed an agreement to construct the shell and core of XTX’s third data center in Kajaani.

YIT will serve as the main contractor for the project. Construction will begin in summer 2026.

The value of the project has not been shared. XTX has previously said it would invest more than €1 billion ($1.16bn) in the site.
