Digital entertainment company Rusk Media has raised Rs 100 crore in a Pre-Series C funding round led by Nazara Technologies. The round also saw participation from Info Edge Ventures, IvyCap Ventures and a consortium led by Audacity VC.As part of the round, representatives from Nazara Technologies and Audacity VC will join Rusk Media's Board of Directors.The company said the fresh capital will be used to expand its content portfolio, scale its owned platform Alright! TV, and accelerate the development of AI-powered production technologies.Rusk Media plans to expand its youth-focused intellectual properties, including I-Popstar and Engaged, into new languages and international markets. The company also intends to launch new sports and audio-first content formats targeting Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences."Our goal has always been to redefine storytelling for the new generation," said Mayank Yadav, CEO and Co-founder of Rusk Media. "With Nazara Technologies, Info Edge Ventures and Audacity VC backing us in this round, we are in a uniquely strong position to sustain our growth and go truly global."The company said a portion of the proceeds will be used to build proprietary AI tools aimed at reducing production costs, increasing content velocity and enabling new monetisation features within the Alright!
