Even before the 2026 FIFA World Cup officially kicked off, it was clear that soccer fever had already made its way into fashion. For months, the fashion set has been embracing sporty track shorts, vintage-inspired jerseys, and other pitch-ready staples. Now, Reformation is cementing the trend with a collaboration that shows fashion is fully in its soccer era.
Teaming up with British sportswear brand Umbro, Reformation is launching a six-piece capsule collection of elevated, retro-inspired pieces.
Rather than creating team-specific jerseys, the collection reimagines athletic staples through the Reformation lens. Track shorts are elevated into chartreuse silk styles finished with delicate lace trim, while a sporty knit tank dress offers a sexy alternative to the classic jersey. Elsewhere, track-inspired pants and a matching striped jacket put a polished spin on the tracksuit. The result is city girl meets sporty girl — pieces that the brands describe as “made for being the best-dressed at the stadium, the pub, or the streets of New York City.”
