APAC data center firm ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) has launched a data center in Seoul, South Korea.
The company announced the launch of STT Seoul 1 this week, marking its entry into Korea.

Located in Gasan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, STT Seoul 1 comprises approximately 40,000 square meters (430,556 sq ft) of gross floor area and supports up to 30MW of IT load, with full commercial operations beginning in June 2026.
First announced in 2021, the facility was developed and will be operated through a joint venture between STT GDC (60 percent) and Hyosung Heavy Industries (40 percent). Plans for a second Seoul facility were announced in 2022.
