There are six former Cowboys and three current Cowboys in the tournament, led by 2023 U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark and current NCAA medalist Preston Stout. Throughout the weekend Oklahoma State golf fans can check here for updates on the event from a Cowboys perspective, including tee times, video and results. The most recent update will be directly below.Round 4: 5 PM CT UpdateSam Burns is in the clubhouse at 3-under for the tournament after firing a 3-under 67. Wyndham Clark is at 4-under with three holes remaining. It all comes down to his final three holes. Round 4: 4:30 PM CT UpdateWyndham Clark has pushed his lead back to two shots after he posted a birdie on No. 10 as he turned to the back side of the course. Then, the lead grew to three shots after his closest pursuer, Sam Burns, dropped a bogey on No. 15. Burns is about four holes ahead of Clark so the former OSU star will know where he stands down the stretch. Sam Stevens remained at 1-over for the tournament and is still in the Top 10. That would put him in the field for the 2027 U.S. Open as an automatic qualifier. Round 4: 3:00 PM CT UpdateWyndham Clark's lead has dropped to one after he went 2-over on his first five holes on Sunday at Shinnecock Hills. He started the day with a five-shot lead but Sam Burns is on a tear. He was 4-under on his first eight holes and combined with Clark's miscues, he has the lead down to one shot. Sam Stevens, meanwhile, is 2-over for the day and one over for the tournament. Round 4: 11:30 AM CT UpdatePeter Uihlein is in the clubhouse with the low round of the day on Sunday after shooting a 4-under 66 in his final round of the U.S. Open. He had five birdies and one bogey on the round to finish at 10-over par for tournament. OSU junior Eric Lee shot a 1-over par 71 to finish up his tournament at 13-over par. Tournament leader and former OSU player Wyndham Clark has more than an hour before he tees off as he seeks his second U.S. Open trophy in four years. Sam Stevens tees off in roughly an hour, five shots behind Clark. Round 4: 9 AM CT UpdateFormer OSU star Peter Uihlein is the hottest player on the course in the morning rounds. He was 3-under par at the turn after he posted birdies on three of the first four holes on the course. That trimmed his overall score to 11-over par. Eric Lee, a current Oklahoma State star playing as an amateur, was even par after eight holes and 12-over for the tournament. Wyndham Clark, the former OSU player and leader after 54 holes, doesn't tee off until 12:30 p.m. CTRound 4 Tee TimesThe USGA released the tee times for the final round of the U.S. Open and the times for the four players with OSU ties are below. Wyndham Clark has a six-shot lead going into the final round.Peter Uihlein, Russell Henley: 5:56 AM CTEric Lee (a), Patrick Rodgers: 6:07 AM CTEmiliano Grillo, Sam Stevens: 12:08 PM CTScottie Scheffler, Wyndham Clark: 12:30 PM CTRound 3: 6 PM CT UpdateWith four holes left, Wyndham Clark has a six-shot lead on the field after he posted a birdie on No. 14. He has that lead over three players, including former OSU teammate Sam Stevens, who had three straight bogeys to start the back side and dropped to 1-under. They are two of four players under par for the tournament during the final stretch of the third round. Round 3: 5 PM CT UpdateThe final group made the turn to the back nine and Wyndham Clark's lead was down to two shots, with fellow former OSU star Sam Stevens his closest pursuer. Stevens was 1-under after the front nine, as he birdied two of the first five holes and gave one shot back on the third hole. By the turn, just six players were under par, including Scottie Scheffler, who was 1-under. The world's No. 1 player needs a win in the U.S. Open to complete the career grand slam. He tied for second in the event in 2022. Round 3: 4 PM CT UpdateSam Stevens improved to 4-under for the tournament and 1-under for the round after he drained a 10-foot birdie putt on No. 5, a par-5 that he nearly reached in two in spite of putting his drive in short rough. That temporarily moved him to two shots behind Wyndham Clark. But Clark answered with a birdie on the same hole right after Stevens to push his score back to even par for the day and 7-under for the tournament. They are two of only four players that were under par after each had completed the fifth hole. Xander Schauffele was 3-under and Sam Burns was 2-under. After two days of watching players innundate Shinnecock Hills, the course finally started taking a bit out of the field. Round 3: 3:30 PM CT UpdateWith the leaders on the course, Wyndham Clark is hard at work trying to win his second U.S. Open in four years. He suffered a bogey on the first hole to drop a shot, but stabilized with a par on the second to remain in the lead at 6-under. He's only given up one shot. Sam Stevens is now in solo second place at 3-under after he birdied the first hole and then bogeyed the third hole. Round 3: 1:45 CT UpdateWith Wyndham Clark and Sam Stevens teeing off in an hour, the other two Oklahoma State players have wrapped up their third rounds. Peter Uihlein shot a 10-over par 80 and is at 14-over par for the tournament. He shot matching 40s on the front and back nine, made just one birdie and bogeyed the final five holes of his round. Eric Lee, an OSU junior playing as an amateur, was two shots ahead of Uihlein after shooting an 8-over 78 and finishing at 12-over par for the tournament. Lee shot matching 39s and had a birdie on each side. He offset that with eight bogeys and one double-bogey. They will be among the early tee times on Sunday. Round 3: 11 AM CT UpdateBoth Eric Lee and Peter Uihlein have made the turn at Shinnecock Hills. Lee, a current OSU star playing as an amateur, is 5-over after 11 holes and 9-over for the tournament. Uihlein, a former OSU player who plays for LIV Golf, is 5-over for the day and 9-over for the tournament after 10 holes. Both are likely to be done with their rounds before two other former Oklahoma State players, Sam Stevens and Wyndham Clark, tee off. Clark leads the tournanemt by four shots over a trio of players that include Stevens. Round 3: 9 AM CT UpdateThe two OSU Cowboys playing early are on the course at Shinnecock Hills. Amateur Eric Lee is 1-over for his round after two holes while Peter Uihlein is 1-over after his first hole. The pair teed off in back-to-back groups. For those Cowboys fans that want to watch the pair play, our Round 3 watch guide shows you how to do that. Round 3 Tee TimesHere are the tee times and the playing partners for the four Oklahoma State players — current and former — that made the cut for the third round of the U.S. Open on Saturday. Eric Lee (a), Chris Gotterup — 7:11 a.m. CTPeter Uihlein, Caleb Surratt — 7:22 a.m. CTSam Stevens, Xander Schauffele — 1:34 p.m. CTWyndham Clark, Matt Fitzpatrick — 1:45 p.m. CTRound 2: 7 PM CT UpdateAll of the Oklahoma State players were done with their rounds. Here were their results after two rounds: Sam Stevens finished 1-under for the day and 3-under for the tournament and in a tie for second place. Peter Uihlein and Eric Lee were even for the day and 4-over for the tournament and right on the cut line with approximately 20 players left on the course. Rickie Fowler shot 4-over and was 5-over for the tournament and was outside the cut line. Ethan Fang shot 7-over and was 11 over for the tournament and was outside the cut line. Round 2: 5 PM CT UpdateSam Stevens is on track to be in the fina two groups of Saturday's third round at the U.S. Open. At the time of this update he was 3-under par and tied with Matt Fitzpatrick and Xander Schauffele. He was playing the final hole. He remained four shots behind another former OSU player, Wyndham Clark, who was 7-under. Of the remaining Cowboys on the course, Rickie Fowler (3-over) and amateur Eric Lee (4-over) were the closest to making the cut for the weekend. Both Alex Noren (5-over) and Peter Uihlein (5-over) were one off the cut line while current Cowboys star Ethan Fang was 11-over. Round 2: 3 PM CT UpdateSam Stevens remains in the hunt to stay under par for the U.S. Open. While he is 1-over for his round after nine holes, he is still 1-under for the event and hoping to stay in red numbers going into the weekend. Eric Lee is 1-under for his round and 3-over for the tournament, putting him in line to make the cut for the weekend. Peter Uihlein is 1-over after 10 and 5-over for the event and outside the cut line. Ethan Fang is midway through his round and 3-over for the round and 7-over for the tournament. Rickie Fowler is 3-over after seven holes and 4-over for the tournament, putting him just inside the cut line for the weekend. Round 2: 12:30 PM CT UpdateThe three OSU Cowboys in the morning groups completed their rounds and Wyndham Clark finished with a four-shot lead after firing a 1-under 69 on Friday. That came after he completed his first round in the morning by playing his final two holes at even par. The other two Cowboys are unlikely to make the cut. Viktor Hovland shot a 1-under 69 that put him 5-over for the tournament. He left the course tied for 89th. Current Big 12 and NCAA champion Preston Stout shot a second-round 7-over 77 and was 9-over for the tournament. The cut line is the Top 60 and ties. Round 2: Friday 11 AM CT UpdateWyndham Clark briefly fell to 5-under for the tournament but had surged to 7-under for the event after he went 1-under for his second round after 13 holes. That put him four shots clear of his closest pursuier, Xander Schauffele. Clark started on the front nine on Friday and parred the first eight holes before he posted a bogey on No. 9. On the back side he posted birdies on Nos. 12 and 13. Per reports on the ground at Shinnecock Hills, the wind has shifted to a different direction, pin placements are harder and the course is starting to dry out, which may make Clark's early finish on Friday a blessing. Viktor Hovland is 2-under for the round after 14 holes and 4-over for the event as he tries to make the cut. He is tied for 73rd. If he gets one more shot back that would move him onto the cut line. OSU amateur Preston Stout was 9-over for his round and 11-over for the tournament through 13 holes. He has a three-shot lead on the field, including former U.S. Open champions Matt Fitzpatrick and Dustin Johnson.Viktor Hovland is 1-under for his round and 5-over for the tournament after five holes. He is in a tie for 98th which is notable because if the tournament ended now he would miss the cut. The Top 60 players and ties make the cut for the weekend. Current OSU star Preston Stout, who shot a 2-over 72 on Thursday, was 9-over par after eight holes on Friday and is also outside the cut line. He had two triple bogeys on the back side, which was his first nine. Viktor Hovland wrapped up his round and finished with a 6-over 76. Round 1 Restart, Round 2 Tee TimesAfter the suspension of Round 1 at the U.S. Open, the USGA announced that players who were unable to complete their rounds on Thursday would need to be in position to restart at 6:35 a.m. eastern time. That impacts two former Cowboys — Wyndham Clark and Viktor Hovland. Both were still on the course when play was suspended. The players that finished their rounds will tee off 15 minutes later than originally scheduled on Friday. That impacts the seven Cowboys that finished their rounds on Thursday. That means Clark and Hovland will have to start their second round almost immediately after ending their first round. Preston Stout was at even par with three holes remaining while Viktor Hovland had played his way into a corner at 6-over with four holes remaining in his round. Update 5 PM CT Thursday: Clark Still in Share of LeadWyndham Clark, the former OSU star who won the US Open in 2023, was still in a share of the lead after his first seven holes on Thursday. He was already in the clubhouse at 2-under. Current OSU star and Big 12 player of the year Preston Stout was 1-under after eight holes. He started on the front nine and birdied three holes and bogeyed two others. Viktor Hovland was struggling through eight holes and was 4-over.
