The United States has released the text of a document formalizing an agreement on a cessation of hostilities and future negotiations with Iran.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by CNN.
“The United States on Wednesday released the official text of the memorandum of understanding reached over the weekend with Iran,” the report said.
The document, titled the “Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding Between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran,” was published following criticism that its contents had not been made public.
A senior U.S. administration official read out the 14-point document, which outlines provisions for restoring access to the Strait of Hormuz, easing certain financial restrictions on Iran, and setting expectations for addressing Iran’s nuclear program during upcoming technical negotiations.
