Undisposed mix waste, wet and dry, stacked near the Subrahmanya Road Railway Station of South Western Railway’s (SWR) by station officials, at Nettana in Kadaba Taluk, Dakshina Kannada district on Wednesday.

Notwithstanding the Indian Railways observing Swachhata Pakhwada every year, South Western Railway’s Subrahmanya Road Railway Station officials were found to be attempting to dump unsegregated waste in trenches dug in the Railway premises on Wednesday. The station is a major gateway to the famed Kukke Subrahmanya Temple.
Officials of South Western Railway’s Subrahmanya Road Railway Station attempted to bury waste in a trench in the station premises at Nettana in Kadaba Taluk, Dakshina Kannada district on Wednesday.
