Generali also leads the insurance sector in the Top CFO, Top IR, Top Company Board and Top ESG Program categories as well as being recognised with the Most Honoured Company title

Milan – Generali has once again claimed top spots in the 2026 edition of Extel rankings. Group CEO Philippe Donnet was confirmed "Top CEO" in the European insurance sector for the fifth year in a row of the annual survey by Extel (formerly Institutional Investor), the specialist magazine and independent research company in the field of international finance.

In addition, Generali again ranked at the top of a number of key categories for the combined buy-side and sell-side feedback, with Generali Group CFO, Cristiano Borean, reconfirmed as the "Top CFO" in the insurance sector. The Generali Investor & Rating Agency Relations team also once again ranked first in the "Top IR Team", "Top IR Professional" - Fabio Cleva, Group Head of Investor & Rating Agency Relations, "Top IR Program" and "Top Analyst / Investor Day" categories and Generali received the “Top Company Board” ranking as well as sharing the Top ranking for ESG.

Furthermore, Generali was recognised with the “Most Honoured Company” title for the year 2026.
