Rackspace will deploy 30MW of AMD AI infrastructure at its data centers to serve clients working in regulated industries.

The companies have signed a deal which will see deployments begin later this year and continue through to 2028.

According to Rackspace, the deal will “represent meaningful capacity to serve regulated enterprise workloads, including healthcare providers who have expressed early interest in accelerated compute for clinical AI and inference at scale.”

It will see AMD Instinct GPUs, including the MI355X, MI350P, and future iterations of AMD silicon, integrated into an enterprise AI Cloud architecture, alongside AMD Epyc CPUs. This will apparently enable Rackspace to “route each workload to the right compute with full accountability for performance and outcomes end-to-end.”
