Chip firm AMD is to lease data center capacity from Core Scientific.
The two companies this week announced a partnership, with AMD securing up to 2.5GW of data center capacity to support “end customer deployments of AMD AI solutions.”

The deal will see AMD lease more than 500MW from 2027, with potential to scale the agreement up to 2.5GW.
AMD has signed 15-year agreements for approximately 530MW across five sites. The deal totals more than $14 billion of potential base contracted revenue, according to Core Scientific.
