S8UL Esports will carry India’s flag in League of Legends at the 2026 Asian Games after winning the National Esports Championship (NESC) 2026 qualifiers. The team now advances to represent the country at the competition in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, with League of Legends events scheduled to run from September 23 to October 2, 2026.
Several members of the roster already competed at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games, where they finished fifth, meaning they know what it feels like to perform on that stage.
From content house to national team pipeline
S8UL was born from a merger between Team SouL and 8Bit Creatives, a deal that came together between 2018 and 2020. S8UL currently fields teams across 18 different gaming titles and has racked up championships at both national and international levels.
Regional qualifiers are scheduled for mid-June 2026, which means S8UL’s roster will need to continue performing before they even set foot in Aichi-Nagoya.
