Bolt.Earth and ChargeZone have announced a strategic partnership to expand access to electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across India by enabling interoperability between their charging networks. Under the partnership, EV users will be able to locate, access and pay for chargers from both networks through a single application. The companies said the integration will provide access to more than 1,500 fast-charging locations for four-wheelers across the country. The collaboration aims to simplify the charging experience by reducing the need for multiple applications and providing a unified platform for charger discovery, payments and real-time charging updates. ChargeZone operates a public fast-charging network spanning highways, intercity corridors and urban mobility hubs. The company serves both personal and commercial EV segments and has established charging infrastructure across key regions in India. "India's EV transition is happening across every mobility segment simultaneously – personal, commercial and fleet. ChargeZone has built its fast-charging backbone to serve that full spectrum, and interoperability is the layer that makes it function at national scale," said Kartikey Hariyani, Founder and CEO of ChargeZone. He added that the integration with Bolt.Earth would help bring fast-charging infrastructure within reach of more EV users, whether travelling within cities or on long-distance routes. Bolt.Earth, which operates a peer-to-peer EV charging network, serves users of two-wheelers, three-wheelers and four-wheelers. The company said its network spans more than 2,000 cities and includes both standard and fast-charging solutions. "Interoperability is the future of EV charging in India. This partnership marks a major step toward that vision," said Jyotiranjan Harichandan, Founder of Bolt.Earth. According to Harichandan, the integration is expected to reduce range anxiety and eliminate the need for EV users to switch between multiple applications to find charging stations. He said the combined network would offer a single, real-time view of available charging points, making charging more convenient and reliable. The companies said the partnership is designed to improve charger accessibility and support the growing adoption of electric vehicles in India by providing a wider network of charging options through a unified platform. Bolt.Earth said it has deployed more than 100,000 chargers across India and continues to expand its charging ecosystem through hardware, software and network solutions.
