The multi-million dollar luxurious lifestyle of undefeated former world boxing champion, Floyd "Money" Mayweather, is facing severe legal scrutiny.
The 49-year-old boxing legend has been hit with two felony charges in the state of Nevada over damning allegations that he deployed a fraudulent, bounced check to acquire a $200,000 luxury wristwatch.
According to Nevada criminal court records obtained by ESPN, Mayweather is facing counts of grand theft and intent to defraud.
Under Nevada state laws, the felony theft charge carries a heavy statutory penalty of up to 20 years in federal prison if he is convicted, although maximum sentences for first-time financial offenses are historically rare.
