MANILA, Philippines — Partly cloudy skies and rain showers will prevail nationwide Wednesday due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

In its 4 a.m. advisory, Pagasa said Eastern Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Davao Oriental may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.
