After initially planning to announce this year’s Emmy nominees in two batches, the TV Academy will now be revealing all of the nominees on July 8.

The Academy had planned to hold back the announcement of nominations in a number of craft categories that rely on peer-group screening panels, announcing nominees in those categories on July 15.

In announcing the change on Tuesday, the TV Academy said the move was designed to better accommodate promotional campaign schedules for Emmy Awards hopefuls.

Nomination-round voting for the 2026 Emmys ends on June 22. Final-round voting, on the 2026 winners, runs from Aug. 17-26.

The 2026 Emmys is set to air live on NBC and Peacock on Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The Creative Arts Emmys, in which the majority of the Emmys trophies are presented, will take place roughly a week earlier, on Saturday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 6.
