It was just about one month ago that the Team Kentucky EV Charging program announced its tenth Kentucky EV fast-charging site was completed and open for charging. Two new EV fast-charging stations were recently installed and made operational; one in Elizabethtown and another in Shepherdsville. Each new station has four very fast 400 kW charging ports.
The Elizabethtown station is located at 601 Ring Road near the Wendell H. Ford Western Kentucky Parkway at Exit 133. The Shepherdsville station is not far from I-65 and is located at 1090 Cedar Grove Road off Exit 116.
“Electric vehicles are here to stay. That’s why we’re quickly expanding our charging network to make sure no family or business in Kentucky has to worry about where their next charge is coming from,” said Gov. Andy Beshear.
