RIYADH: The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, in partnership with the Communications, Space and Technology Commission, held a two-day training program in Aden governorate for personnel from the nation’s Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology.
The program, which included 44 trainees, featured specialized modules delivered by commission experts. It aimed to enhance participants’ technical and administrative skills and their knowledge of the latest practices and technologies in the communications and information technology sector.
It was a part of broader efforts to build institutional capacity and develop Yemeni national competencies. It also aimed to improve the performance of the communications and information technology sector, enhance service quality, and increase readiness to keep pace with rapid technological developments.
Saudi development projects and initiatives have also contributed to the economic empowerment of women, youth, and local communities, while supporting investment in human capital.
These efforts include the “Building the Future for Yemeni Youth” program, projects supporting livelihoods in affected communities, and initiatives to enhance the capabilities of transport sector personnel.
