RIYADH: The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen signed an agreement with King Abdulaziz University’s Almobdioon Center for Studies and Research to implement a digital empowerment project for Yemeni teachers.
The project aims to strengthen the capabilities of 500 male and female teachers in Aden, Hadramout, Al-Mahra and Socotra in modern digital technologies.
It also seeks to enhance their professional and technical skills in the education process, the Saudi Press Agency recently reported.
Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Jaber, general supervisor of the program, and Esam Kawther, CEO of the center, represented their respective sides at the signing ceremony.
Yemen’s Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Afrah Al-Zouba and Deputy Minister of Education for the Training Sector Zaid Qahtan joined the ceremony remotely.
