Spider-Man star Tom Holland has confirmed his marriage to Zendaya, after being forced to dismiss AI wedding pictures as fake14:07, 16 Jun 2026Updated 14:07, 16 Jun 2026Tom Holland has finally confirmed his marriage to Zendaya, months after AI pictures emerged, claiming to be of their wedding.‌The couple, who met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, have kept much of their relationship firmly under wraps after they were first pictured kissing in 2021 - they confirmed their engagement three years later.‌Earlier this year, the Dune actress, 29, whipped her fans into a frenzy when she was spotted wearing a wedding ring, with her long-time stylist, Law Roach, appearing to confirm that their ceremony had taken place.‌In a new interview, Peter Parker star Tom, 30, set the record straight when he was questioned about their nuptials, and whether they had to have awkward conversations with their loved ones after the AI pictures flooded social media.‌“No, because they were all there,” he simply told Esquire, before insisting: “That’s all you’ll get on that.”Shedding further light on the beginning of their romance, and the moment that he learned that his now-wife would be playing his Marvel love interest, he recalled: “Obviously, I was super excited at the prospect of working with her and getting to know her.“She smashed her audition out the park and got the part before she’d even left the room. I remember when she closed the door to leave, [producer] Amy Pascal was immediately like, ‘Well, she’s getting the job.’”‌“Our business can present very stressful situations and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” he added. “We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else.“So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I ever have been when I’m with her, but I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period. Maybe when I was young with my parents and my dad was picking me up from school. Not to say that our relationship is like my mum and dad.”‌The pair, dubbed Tomdaya, had faced intense scrutiny over their bond from the second they were both announced to be appearing in Spider-Man together. It wasn’t until years later that they confirmed their romance, in November 2021.Despite the intense interest in their romance, they have gone above and beyond to keep details of their relationship behind closed doors.However, Zendaya couldn’t help but laugh off the fake pictures of their wedding earlier this year, during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! - telling the host that “many people have been fooled by them”.‌“While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous’, and I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real’,” she laughed.‌She also explained why she refused to be drawn on the speculation while being interviewed for the New York Times’ Modern Love podcast, adding: “I just feel like for me there is a level of a parasocial investment in my personal relationship, which I understand,.“I’m aware that I’m a public person and so is he, and I’m also aware that we’ve grown up in front of people, and we’ve done movies where we fall in love with each other, so I really do understand that, and I don’t want to dismiss that like, ‘Stay out of my business’ or whatever.“I hear it, but I also [have] my own little boundaries of what I like to bring up and talk about, but then also what I’m also willing to share.
