Moana Deadline also reports Lin Manuel Miranda has written a new song for the live-action Moana titled “Along the Way”, performed by Dwayne Johnson, Catherine Laga’aia, and the original voice of Moana, Auli’i Cravalho. The song is described by Miranda as “a musical conversation between Auli’i’s Moana and [Catherine’s] Moana,” or as Johnson describes it, “it’s our OG Moana and your live-action Moana coming together, and then it’s your boy Maui coming in.”
