One of the stars of Sony Pictures Entertainment‘s latest entry in its “Spider-Man” franchise has little spoken dialogue, but may end up stealing a few scenes.

Samsung‘s Galaxy phones are used by character Ned Leeds (played by Jacob Batalon) to track the whereabouts of the film’s titular hero. Moviegoers will see Spider-Man himself use a Galaxy Z Flip and also watch Leeds make use of a Galaxy Z Fold and a Galaxy Watch.

“Incorporating Galaxy technology into such a beloved Spider-Man storytelling world gives us a chance to showcase how even your friendly neighborhood hero relies only on Samsung Galaxy,” said Keena Grigsby, chief marketing officer and vice president of mobile experience at Samsung Electronics America, in a statement. “This is the perfect opportunity to double down on our belief that Galaxy devices are designed to help everyone stay connected — whether you’re taking photos with friends, keeping up with loved ones, or saving New York.”

Hollywood will be looking at “Brand New Day” to see if it can match the box-office power of its predecessor, “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” That film made Sony’s Spider-Man films more a part of Disney’s Marvel universe, and resulted in one of the bigger movies of 2021. “Brand New Day” is expected to hit theaters on July 31.
