Actor Sanchita Ugale, known for her roles in television shows such as Kumkum Bhagya, has reportedly died by suicide at her residence in Maharashtra's Palghar district. She was 22. According to PTI, Sanchita was found dead at her home in the Nalasopara area around 7 pm on Sunday while she was alone. Days after the tragedy, her brother Akash Ugale drew parallels between her death and that of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, whose death shocked the country in 2020.Brother draws comparison with Sushant Singh Rajput's deathSpeaking to IANS, Akash Ugale claimed that both Sanchita and Sushant were dealing with immense pressure from the entertainment industry. He suggested that this pressure may have played a role in their deaths and pointed out that both incidents occurred on June 14, exactly six years apart.According to him, Sanchita's last social media post was dedicated to remembering Sushant Singh Rajput on his death anniversary. The Instagram reel reportedly carried the message, "It's again 14 June."He said, "He committed suicide on 14th June 2020. Why? Because Bollywood, this industry, put a lot of pressure on him, and because of that pressure, he committed suicide. Authorities said she allegedly died by suicide between 7 pm and 7:30 pm after locking herself inside her bedroom.Assistant Police Inspector Vinod Bagh of Achole Police Station said that Sanchita was allegedly found hanging from a ceiling fan using a saree. Family members and local residents immediately rushed her to Vasai-Virar Municipal Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.Following the incident, police reached the location and completed the necessary procedures. An inquest report was prepared before the body was sent for post-mortem examination.Based on a complaint filed by her father, Machhindra Ugale, Achole Police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) on June 15.Officials have said that the exact reason behind the incident has not yet been established. Investigators are examining all possible angles, and further inquiries are ongoing.The news has left many in the television industry shocked. Sanchita had earned recognition for playing Diya Tandon in Kumkum Bhagya. She also appeared in Wagle Ki Duniya as Ruchita Jaitley and later took on a lead role opposite Sorab Bedi in Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi.
