The first truly shocking result at the World Cup has just taken place. Pre-tournament favorite, Spain, failed to beat Cabo Verde in their opening match. Cabo Verde has a population of just 524,000 and has never appeared in a World Cup. In their first ever match, they managed to play to a draw against the best team in the world.
