MANILA, Philippines – Cebu-based shipping company Aznar Shipping Corp. is looking to expand its operations in the Visayas, capitalizing on central Philippines’ strong growth prospects due to the growing economy and population.
Aznar president and CEO, Kyle Alexander Aznar, said in a briefing on Monday that the company planned to acquire three new vessels from China in the next three to five years as part of expansion plans.

Aznar said the planned acquisition would support growing demand for shipping services in the Visayas, highlighting “very promising” growth potential in the area based on recent projections.
