CHICAGO — Major diabetic foot complications were more common in patients with type 2 diabetes treated with SGLT2 inhibitors than those treated with GLP-1 receptor agonists, researchers reported at ENDO 2026.However, new-onset diabetic peripheral neuropathy was lower in patients taking SGLT2 inhibitors compared with those taking GLP-1s, according to the researchers.
