Google has landed two subsea cables on the Atlantic island of Bermuda.
The Government of Bermuda this week announced the landing of Google’s Nuvem and Sol subsea cable systems in Bermuda.

Sol was first announced last year. The cable will connect the US, Bermuda, the Azores, and Spain. In the US, the cable will land in Palm Coast, Florida. In Spain, the system is due to land in Santander.
Nuvem, announced in 2023, will link Portugal, Bermuda, and the United States. Nuvem – the Portuguese word for cloud – spans ~7,000km (4,349 miles) and will feature 16 fiber pairs and offer a total of 384Tbps.
