Airbyte Announces Update to Data Movement Platform, Plus Industry Recognition

Airbyte, creator of the open data movement platform, today announced the release of Airbyte 2.1, along with industry recognition for its role in powering enterprise AI and agentic AI systems with trusted, production-ready data infrastructure.
Also, the company released results of an Airbyte commissioned Forrester Consulting Total Economic Impact™ (TEI) study that showed: a 239% return-on-investment (ROI); improvements in data reliability and quality; simplified compliance and regulatory reporting; plus, faster and more informed decision-making as data ingestion and management is standardized.
The study findings are based on four organizations' experience using Airbyte. Those are aggregated to form a composite organization that showed over a three-year period a 60% productivity lift when building pipelines and a 40% productivity lift when maintaining pipelines.
