Watch the national team at viewing sites across the province
The Western Cape Government has announced a series of public viewing sites across the province, giving residents an opportunity to come together and support South Africa's national team in a safe and family-friendly environment.
Western Cape MEC for Cultural Affairs and Sport, Ricardo Mackenzie, said the initiative aims to ensure communities in every district can share in the excitement of the highly anticipated match while strengthening social cohesion and community spirit.
The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport (DCAS) has partnered with municipalities and private stakeholders to establish viewing venues across the province, allowing supporters to watch the games close to home.
Mackenzie said sport continues to play a critical role in bringing people together regardless of background, age or culture.
