The National Association of Lafiagi Emirate Students (NALES) has called on Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Emir of Lafiagi, Alhaji Muhammed Kudu Kawu, and the Chairman of Edu Local Government Area, Hon. Abdullahi Bello, to take urgent and decisive action to secure the release of a student, Mohammed Aishat, who was abducted by bandits after her father was killed during an attack.

More than two weeks after the incident, the student remains in captivity, prompting growing concerns among members of the Lafiagi Emirate community and student groups.

In a statement issued on Sunday and signed by its National President, Mohammed Haruna Kponta, the National Association of Lafiagi Emirate Students (NALES) National Headquarters condemned the continued detention of the student by her abductors and demanded immediate intervention by relevant authorities.
