The International Crimes Tribunal has set Jun 28 as the date for the verdict in the case of crimes against humanity in the shooting and killing of two people, including a youth hanging from the cornice of a building in Dhaka’s Rampura during the 2024 July Uprising.
The verdict date was set after the second round of arguments were completed at Tribunal-1 on Monday.
Of the five suspects in the case, only one - the prime suspect, Chanchal Chandra Sarkar – has been arrested.
