Those were the final words Brenda Scriven shared on Facebook on July 25 2016. After decades of work, retirement was just six days away.
But she never made it home.
That Monday afternoon, torrential rain battered Durban, turning roads into rivers and triggering widespread flooding across the city. Somewhere between leaving work and reaching home, Scriven vanished.
