After five years together, reality television star Zari Hassan and her husband, Shakib Cham Lutaaya, have announced the end of their marriage.
Ugandan socialite and reality television star Zari Hassan has announced the end of her marriage to Shakib Cham Lutaaya after five years together.
The couple, who shared parts of their relationship on the Netflix reality series “Young, Famous & African", confirmed their separation in a joint statement posted on Hassan’s Instagram account.
The statement said: "Five years later, after much thought and reflection, we believe it is best for us to part ways due to irreconcilable differences. While this decision was not an easy one, we feel it is the right one for both of us."
The pair thanked each other for the years they spent together and stressed that there was no bad blood between them.
