JEDDAH: The inaugural edition of the WRC Rally Saudi Arabia in 2025 brought the FIA World Rally Championship to the Kingdom for the first time, providing an opportunity to host one of the most demanding and prestigious events on the global stage.
With Saudi Arabia already hosting major international events including Formula 1, Formula E and the Dakar Rally, the addition of the FIA World Rally Championship broadened that portfolio further and reinforced Saudi Arabia’s growing global presence.
Now the Saudi Arabian Motorsport Federation has released information on the 2025 edition, from the organization to the competition itself.
Across a 14,670 sq. meter fan zone and service park, the event mobilized a workforce of 2,322 people, with 52 entities contributing to its delivery.
On the sporting side, crews tackled 319.44 km across 17 stages, underlining the level of coordination, planning, and operational control needed to deliver a world championship rally.
