Aakifah Kadir, and her husband, Muhammad Abdul Kadir.

Five men, linked to the slain “notorious” Yaganathan “Teddy Mafia” Pillay, were charged with attempted murder after a Shallcross father was shot nine times.

Muhammad Abdul Kadir, 43, was shot just metres outside his flat in Alpine Drive on May 31.

He sustained gunshot wounds to his head, chest, arms and legs.

At the time, Aakifa Kadir, his wife, alleged that it was related to the father of four taking a stand against a “drug shop” operating from a block of flats in which they reside.
