June 14 (UPI) -- President Donald Trump and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Shafir announced Sunday that the United States and Iran have come to a peace agreement.
Shafir said on social media that the United States and Iran have called for an immediate and permanent end to their military operations. This includes military operations in Lebanon.
Pakistan has served as a mediator in peace talks between the United States and Iran.
"Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED," Shafir wrote.
