We’re due for Google’s next Pixel Drop and, thanks to some early ads, we now know that Screen Reactions and some Gemini Omni-powered features will be a part of this next update.
The last Pixel Drop was in March 2026 and, based on Google’s usual schedule, we’re actually just a tiny bit overdue for the next one. But it seems like we’re going to go get it pretty soon.
The folks over at Droid-Life ran into ads from Google pointing to Amazon that reveal “Music Generation” and “Screen Reactions” as a part of the next Pixel Drop update. These videos appear on Amazon and showed up within the past few days, but have not appeared elsewhere.
All three feature the “Pixel Drop” branding that Google set into place in March, with previous batches being referred to as “Pixel Feature Drop.”
The only new feature here, technically, is technically Screen Reactions. Google first showed off this feature at The Android Show in May, and it’s now available in Android 17 QPR1’s latest beta. According to this video, though, we’ll be getting it early on Pixel phones, which are presumably getting Android 17’s stable release with this Drop.
