The jubilation from the Knicks’ championship resulted in dozens of arrests and multiple damaged vehicles in New York City.
The New York Police Department announced Sunday morning that 63 people were arrested around Madison Square Garden after the Knicks won their first championship since 1973. The police also said that 10 officers were injured during the celebration, which officials described as including tens of thousands of people.
